With a lot of help, John Conant co-founded Young Dragons in 2022.

From 2015-2017, John served as the Dean of Boys at Cazadero Music Camp, where he was known as "Dean John". Following his departure from this staff position, John continued to return to Caz as a seasonal member of their janitorial staff (read: scrubbing toilets). In this new capacity, his colleagues and campers redubbed him: "Clean John".

From 2018-2024, John worked for the Natural History Museums of LA County as an A/V Tech. Outside of his technical duties, John helped to create and lead NHM's "Sing, Move, Play!" program from 2020-2023, performing under the moniker: "Banjo John".

Outside of Young Dragons, John is a freelance audio engineer specializing in live sound, theatre, and education. He enjoys climbing, dancing, and making pickles. 

His favorite class is cleric; his favorite color is purple.
